01 Overview

Bellevue moves on two completely different floor plans, and our crews work both every week. Downtown it’s glass towers along Bellevue Way and 108th, where every job runs through a property manager, a freight elevator and a loading dock. Climb into the hills toward Somerset, Bridle Trails or Newport and it’s custom homes on long pitched driveways with daylight basements and switchback stairs. Redmond Movers is the Eastside’s flat-rate crew, licensed by the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission with USDOT and MC authority, and we run our own trucks and our own uniformed movers on every one of those.

Planning a move around this corner of the Eastside? Eastside Seattle movers works these streets, towers, and plateau cul-de-sacs week in and week out.

High-rise condos and luxury apartments downtown

If you’re in Lincoln Square, Bellevue Towers, One88 or a leased unit near Bellevue Square, the building sets the terms. We’ve moved enough downtown Bellevue towers to know how that works.

  • Certificate of insurance issued on our policy and sent to your building before the date
  • Freight elevator and loading-dock window reserved with management, not improvised
  • Floor and elevator-pad protection so you don’t owe the HOA for a scuff
  • Tight-corner and long-carry navigation from the dock to your unit

Hillside homes and the tech-HQ corridor

Bellevue’s tech paychecks fill the hillsides, and those houses come with their own puzzles. A Somerset home might have the garage three half-flights below the bedrooms; a Bridle Trails property might end in a gated drive too steep for a 26-footer. We scout access first, shuttle the load where the truck can’t reach, and pad the staircases. When corporate relocates someone into the Spring District or out of it, we keep the schedule tight so a transfer doesn’t eat a vacation day.

Flat-rate, not a meter you watch

You get one number before we start. Local jobs run two movers and a truck at $169 an hour or three and a truck at $229, and a one-bedroom flat-rate opens at $439. A $135 deposit holds your slot and comes straight off the final bill. The same crew loads in Bellevue and unloads at the other end.

We move Bellevue

Our crews work Bellevue week in and week out, so the steep driveways, the freight-elevator windows, and the building access are second nature long before the truck rolls up. What we quote is one flat written rate — no surprise lines waiting in the fine print.

02 Why us

The name on the truck is the name on your contract

Hire Redmond Movers and the truck at your curb is ours, the paperwork is ours, and the people carrying your sofa up the daylight-basement stairs draw an Eastside paycheck from us — your move is never sold off. A broker works the other direction: they hand your job to whoever underbids that week, then drop out of the picture.

Redmond Movers
  • Our own trucks and our own full-time, background-checked movers — never day labor pulled off a job board
  • The number we write down is the number you pay — signed, held, to the dollar
  • The same crew from the first box loaded to the last box carried in
  • Household-goods authority from Washington (WUTC), USDOT/MC on the books for interstate runs, and every single job backed by full insurance
  • One Redmond office and one point of contact, from your first call to the last box down
What a broker does
  • Farms your move out to whichever outfit underbids that week
  • Lets the quote swell on move day with add-ons nobody mentioned up front
  • Puts everything you own in the hands of a crew you have never once talked to, then points them up your stairs
  • Stays fuzzy about whose policy actually pays for a dropped TV
  • Drops a call center between you and whoever finally shows up to load

04 Good to know

What Bellevue movers ask us

Do you handle the certificate of insurance my Bellevue tower requires?
Yes. Most downtown Bellevue high-rises around Lincoln Square and Bellevue Towers want a COI naming the building before they'll release a freight elevator. Send us the property manager's requirements when you book and our office manager issues it on our policy days ahead, so move day isn't held up at the loading dock.
Can your crew reserve the freight elevator and loading dock for a high-rise move?
We coordinate the elevator window and dock time with building management ourselves once your date is set. We plan padding, dolly paths and the timed reservation around the building's rules, whether you're on Main Street downtown or in a Newport hillside condo.
How do you move furniture down a steep Somerset or Bridle Trails driveway?
Plenty of Bellevue hillside homes sit at the bottom of a long pitched drive where the truck can't reach the door. We shuttle with smaller equipment, walk the route first, and lay runners on wet pavement so nothing slides in the PNW drizzle.

Moving into or out of this part of the Eastside?

The gates, the grades, the building access — our Redmond crew has them down. Ask for a free flat-rate estimate in writing and we will get rolling.
